How to Set Up Proper Receipt Layout: Citizen CT-S300 Series Printer

Depending on the Windows version and Windows settings there is a need to adjust POS receipt layout in order to have receipt info Fit the receipt

Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers highlight receipt printer and click on Print server properties at the top

In Print Server Properties window
  1. Check Create a new form
  2. Name new form
  3. Under Form description (measurement) switch to Metric
  4. Set Width 70.00 (note: you may also increase the length by adjusting Height value)
  5. Click on Save Form
  6. Click Close to close the window


Once a new receipt layout is created you are ready to assign it to a printer. Click with your right mouse button on a printer and select option Printer Properties


  1. Under properties window go to Preferences
  2. Under Preferences go to  Advanced
  3. select your custom receipt template and hit OK

Select the same custom receipt template under Device settings tab of Printer Properties config screen and click on OK
