A guide for store owners, admins, and dealers on how to download, install, and configure the Boost Elevate POS on a new computer. Follow these steps once per workstation to get the POS up and running and connected to your store.
Before installing the POS, you need to download the installation package from the Boost Elevate download page.
Follow this link to access the download page.
Click Download your version of POS.
The download starts immediately, and the installer file is saved to your default Downloads folder.
Before running the installer, prepare the workstation:
Disable antivirus during install. Disable or pause antivirus software on your computer before running the installer. Antivirus tools can interrupt or block the installation, leaving you with an incomplete setup. Re-enable antivirus once the install is complete.
Admin rights required. If the computer was set up by your system administrator or IT department, you may not have permission to install software. Contact them for assistance before continuing.
Open the folder where the installer was downloaded (usually the Downloads folder).
Right click the installer file.
Select Run as Administrator.
Confirm the installation when prompted.
Follow the setup wizard through each step until the install completes.
If Run as Administrator is missing. If the option is not available or the installation fails, contact your system administrator or IT. Specific permissions may be required to install software on this computer.
Once the installation is complete, open Boost Elevate using one of these options:
Check the Launch Boost Elevate option on the final installer screen, or
Double-click the Boost Elevate shortcut created on your Desktop
The first time you open Boost Elevate, you need to enter your store credentials:
On the initial login screen, click the Configure button.
Enter the Access Code provided in your Welcome Package Email.
Click OK.
The system is now configured and ready to accept logins.
After configuration:
Enter the login and password provided in your Welcome Email.
Sign in.
You are now ready to configure and use your Boost Elevate POS.

Access Code location. Your Access Code is included in the Welcome Package Email you received when your account was set up.
Welcome Email login. The login and password used at the sign-in screen are separate from the Access Code. The Access Code links the workstation to your store, while the login and password authenticate the user. Both come from your onboarding email.

Installing Boost Elevate takes six steps: download the installer, prepare the PC (disable antivirus, check admin rights), run the installer as administrator, launch Boost Elevate, enter your Access Code in Configure, and log in with the credentials from your Welcome Email. Once installed and configured, the Back Office is ready for daily use.
